成虫は３月下旬～５月上旬にサクラなどの花でも稀に採集されるが、主にリョウメンシダの葉上で見られる。おそらくトビムシなどの小動物を捕食しているものと思われるが詳細は不明。本種はこれまで神奈川県の低地のみから得られているが、本州の低地に広く分布していると思われる。

This species is collected from mainly leaves of Arachniodes standishii from late March to early May although also rarely collected from the flowers of other plants such as cherry blossoms. It may prey small arthropods such as Collembola on Arachniodes standishii but their biology is not known. It has been collected from the plains of Kanagawa in Honshu only so far, but probably it is widespread in the plains of Honshu.
